Choose the option that suits your school!
Option One – The Four Year Plan
Graham works with years 9 – 12 (or 8 – 11) annually. He presents a single, 1 hour, session to each year level. This is supplemented by material we provide for use by teachers in a class room setting as follow up.
Program content is described on the topics page. The suggested progression of the topics is:
· Year 9 Topic 1 “You can’t do it alone”
· Year 10 Topic 2 “Standing tall when the world keeps knocking you down”
·Year 11 Topic 3 “Living in the danger zone”
· Year 12 Topic 4 “Don’t be discouraged, it does get better!”
The program is flexible and we are happy to meet a school’s particular requirements. Topics 1 & 2 are almost prerequisites for 3 & 4. Consequently Graham prefers to use one of these two topics on his first contact with a group of students, regardless of year level.
Option Two – Full or Half Day Seminars
Combine the four key topics, with workshop and discussion sessions, into a full day (or half day by special arrangement) senior student seminar. This is suitable for year 11 or 12 students only. It is recommended that this style of program be conducted in an off-campus venue.
Option Three – Combination Program
Conduct topics 1 – 3 as annual whole of grade presentations in years 9 –11. Run a full or half day seminar for year 12’s incorporating topic 4 and selection of extra topics outlined on the next page.
Option Four – The extended event - Camps and Retreats Download the brochure
The best way to fully utilise Graham’s capacity to work with teenagers is in a camp or retreat setting. This is particularly appropriate for senior students.
Graham will work with a school’s outdoor/recreational education team to establish a program that builds students into leadership of self and others. It will develop their personal confidence and vision, encourage a grade of students to team work and bonding The program will inspire them to the possibilities that await them. Usually a two to three day event.
